Houston National Golf Club features a public access course featuring 18 championship holes designed by famed golf course designers Von Hagge, Smelek & Baril. Other amenities of Houston National include a lighted driving range, a beautiful pro shop, and the "Back Deck" Bar and Grille. Houston National opened in November 2000 in one of Houston's fastest growing communities Stone Gate Subdivision. The course features unique rolling hills and spectacular architectural features. In August 2010, Sterling Golf purchased Houston National Golf Club to restore the facility to one of the finest in Houston. With new bunkers, driving range, cart paths, and fantastic greens, Houston National is once again one of the best golf experiences in Houston.
